This incident resulted in the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the T3 parking area.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to police.

A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.

The arrests follow a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and were later released.

Officers detained a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Police were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of several individuals hurt by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
